What is an Orphan Page?
SEO Terms, Definitions & Implementation Guidelines.
An orphan page is a publicly accessible URL on a website that has no incoming internal hyperlink from any other page on that same site.
Search bots (like Googlebot) crawl websites by moving from one page to another through links. If a page has zero incoming internal links, a crawler auditing your site's navigation architecture will never find it. While it can still be indexed via an XML sitemap or backlink, search engines view it as low-priority due to its isolation, leading to weak rankings and poor crawl freshing.
Crawl and analyze your site’s internal linking depth and identify orphan pages immediately.
